Pic for Zenny (from below) and a q??

CrimsonKing Mar 04, 2007 12:02 PM

I noticed a few years ago that some of my Cal kings would have this eye stripe. Only a couple and I remember my son saying he thought it was cool so we kept a few..
Well, they ended up being traded or whatever and I have only a few from recent years and no full adults.
Most end up in Japan.
So anyway, Zenny, here's a pic of what could be described as a
sub-adult I guess.

The best were much cleaner and had straighter "stripes".
Guess I'll keep this one to breed.

It's probably just a bit of an aberration but does anyone have similar animals with the eye stripe??

Thats a really cool looking king. I remember you posted that pic a long time ago and I thought that eye stripe was cool as heck. It gives there face a really different look.

I have seen a few snakes that had striped paterns like that, but never the face stripe. If you do get more like that from him, put me on the list for some.

cheers

Simply fantastic, I think its pretty neat, it seems miniscule but when you see it it gives the snake a whole different look. Nice find.

Do you also notice that the main stripe along the backbone on the snake above is more yellow than the others?? I had just shot that pic, so it could have been a different snake you saw before, maybe of one of my '06 babies.
Could be this one..

Anyway,email me.
I remember having some with white labials and otherwise yellow scales..
