I have a friend who has a pr. of snow corns. One of them has alot of yellow on the sides of it's face and neck, the other one has no yellow. They both have pink saddles on a white ground color. Are these two different morphs? Jeff

snows can vary a lot. I know the amount of yellow in a corn is not considered a different morph. Take anery for example. I hate the yellow that runs along the side of the head and look for snakes that have very little. Other people look for anerys that have a lot. Both are still anerys.
I think (without pics you can't be possitive) that from your descriptions, both are snows. One just has higher amount of yellow pigment. just MHO

Nope, Jeff.
They are snows.
There is such a wide variance in snows you would be amazed.
Some are almost as white as blizzards, some have just hints of colors such as yellow, pink and even green and some are so bright with colors you would think they could glow in the dark.

Yeah, like the others said, there's a whole lotta variability in snows - which makes sense - snows are amel combined with anery.

There's a heck of a lot of amel morphs: candy cane, sunglow, reverse Okeetee, etc. The anery gene hasn't been selectively bred for all the traits that amel has, but it varies too.

So when you put those two recessive traits into one snake, there's a heck of a lot of color variety that can be expressed.
