My new chuck habitat

drbradsh Mar 04, 2007 03:45 PM

This took me quite a while to conceptualize and finally have the finished product up for display in my house. I love it so much I am getting ready to start a new one just for my hispidus. My wife won't be able to complain about ugly cages sitting all over the house anymore!!

A bunch of healthy looking chucks too. You need about 5 or 6 more cages like that now. LOL Tom

It's actually foam that has been ripped and shaped to look like rocks that are glued to the back of the display unit. I then covered the whole thing with tile grout, thin set. Once that dried I painted it with spray paint and then sealed it with grout sealer. It really adds no additional weight and is still easy to move around the house if needs be.
