Baby Boelens Python

Gary Schiavino Mar 04, 2007 07:19 PM

This girl was Captive Hatched in Indo, and she's been in my collection for a few weeks.

She required some scenting initially in order to eat, however she recently shed, took her 3rd unscented frozen/thawed rat pink, and she seems to be settling in nicely.

This pic was taken by my good buddy Joe Sary.
Enjoy!

beautiful hatchling, can I ask how you are keeping yours? I have a pair of 06 indo hatched babies and I have listened to everyones opinions and it had made me more and more confused! mine are eating big adult mice every 10-14days and are ok , so far!! Any information and thoughts welcome

Honestly, just like any other Morelia.

In a rubbermaid in a rack system with newspaper as a substrate, a hidebox, and a water bowl. Temps towards the back of the tub are 85/86 degrees, but overall the temps linger in the 80/82 range.

I mist the enclosure VERY lightly in the am to increase humidity, and I feed this little girl rat pinks every 5-6 days.

So far ....so good
Hope this helps!
Gary
