Foggers?

Derek54 Mar 04, 2007 08:32 PM

Does anyone use foggers? I got an offer for $30, and It would make the enclosure look insanely cool. but, Im wondering what other people think of them, or if anyone else uses them.

Im not sure exactly what a fogger entails but i have a auto-humidifing setup in my tank that pumps humid air into the tank, it tends to keep the humidity AT LEAST 60%-80% all the time.

Hardly any maintence required.

hope it helps.

Most of the foggers marketed for the reptile world are actually a bit on the dangerous side to use. Direct contact can burn and or cause an electrical shock.

If you looking for a "foggy" apperance, you can easily make a safe fogger using a cool mist humidifier (found in your local home improvement center) and some PVC pipe. Plumb the pvc into the tank and kick on the humidifier when you want the fog.. Easy as that, and perfectly safe for you pets.

Ha! awesome. I just pulled out an old humidifier. It has time interval, and volume settings. Its perfect. Thanks for the idea. Im still pondering how to get the fog into the tank... by rubber hose, or solid pvc pipe...I'll figure that out later.
