Hello all! New to chams here...

Michele_Thomas Mar 04, 2007 09:14 PM

My name is Michele and I got my first cham yestereday. She is a young juvy veil. (I think she's a she, not really sure what I'm looking for on those little bitty feets)
She seems to be aclimating quite easily (at least compared to igs, and thats what I'm used to).
I have a mesh enclosure, zoomed 5.0 uvb, basking light, mister. Temps and humidity are still a work in progress at this point, but am adjusting and working on it.
I have a pretty decent little cricket colony I do gut load and dust. So far I dont have any live plants in her enclosure but she can come out and play on my plants in the living room by the window. I have pics on photobucket and will try to attach (I'm not real talented at that yet so be patient) I think all my normal houseplants are safe except aspca says motherinlaws tounge/snake plant can be toxic to dogs and cats so I'm removing that one from her playgroung.
Any tips to help ensure I do well by my new little green friend are welcome.
Regards,
Michele
