Some Ctenosaura from Brownsville Tx...

TXDragons Mar 04, 2007 10:28 PM

I just wanted to show the people out there that we have our own little population of Ctenosaura's running loose here in Tx, these bad boys reside in our local ZOO... Gladys Porter Zoo, and occasionally are found outside the area in local neighbor hoods... I've had the pleasure of catching them... and keeping them... I think they are "pectinata" if I recall right... I think it was a great day... spotted 5 total individuals thru out the zoo... all bathing in the sun... we also dealing with a small feral group of Green Iguanas... too... next thing you know... we'll have the same issue that Florida has... anyhow also wanted to post some photos of some Grand Caymens... we have... I was gonna take some of the Jamaican's but I wasnt able to go behind the "scenes" with my keeper friends... due to the girlfriend tagging along.. but enjoy... not the bluest of the group...

note he is not our "primary" breeder... he's the back up for our SUPER BLUE male (Godzilla, who I honestly dont know if he's still alive, since I havent visited the zoo in almost 2rs... and have lost touch with my friends)... last I heard we had two CB babys from the trio we have.. or had

Godzilla died last year. I think you have a male from Indy now.
