Hahahah nice! Do you use flash when you take photos? I know their eyes are incredibly sensitive to light and personaly never use flash. Once I forgot to turn it off and his eyes went from fully opened to completely closed in less than a second. Scared the hell out of me but the pupils slowly dialated back to normal. He didnt even flinch but I'm sure he didnt like it that much.....

I prefer to take pics at night when my Tokays are active and doing cool things. I use the lowest level flash and never get close to them like in their face. I have a zoom with a digi zoom too to get the close ups, so the cameras not inches from them like some pics appear. They usually dont even finch and continue doing their thing like nothing happened. I dont use the flash on babies, their eyes are very sensitve. all pics when im handling them are taken during the day. Thanks for the concern.

I've taken full movies of my tokay eating worms during the day. He bashes them into the bark its cool to watch. If you have AIM, ICQ or something similar I can send them to you if you're interested.

I had some real good pics of mine doing the same with a pinkie rat. They have a pretty violent head shake esp adults. could be pretty gruesome to some people. Lost the pics when my hard drive crashed a couple months back, like to the tune of over 600 pics

Oh damn thats a lot of pics. I just made videos of him eating golliath worms. He beats those things like crazy. One time he popped one on the glass it was a huge mess on the glass. I have yet to film a pinky but maybe when some of my other bloodthirsty friends want a show I'll bring one in (I personally dont have a burning desire to see it eat one but whatever pleases the croud lol).

I tell you i was very surprised to see this. the first couple times i gave her pinkies she just snatched them up and down the hatch. Now she puts on a good show. no wonder they can inflict damage when bitten. ive never been bit, she never been aggressive to me, i regularly have my hand within a inch from her and she doesnt flinch. havent handled her in a while now, shes been laying eggs since Dec. or early Jan. I lost a lot of documentation of all my geckos from when i got each of them till my hard drive crashed, im so sad. Damm computers, cant live without them though
