first step is to have a pair of sexually mature milks. second is to make sure they are feeding. you want to feed them all summer about as much as they will eat as all of the eastern milks I have kept go off feed randomly, it helps to feed them smaller meals more frequently. I keep them feeding until about a week or so before thanks giving make sure to let them pass there last meal before cooling them at 50-65 degrees always have water but do not feed them I wait till st patricks day and brnig em out. warm them up a few days to optimal temps 70-85 or so. begin feeding make sureto feed the females good and as much as they are willing to eat. males will often not eat till they breed. ok as soon as the female gets ready for her first shed introduce the male to the female. you can do it for a couple hours every day, or leave him with her, they can be canabalstic so use concern. the next shed will be the egg laying shed and if bred and gravid (snake pregnancy) you can expect eggs within 2 weeks on average so have a nesting box ready. cook those eggs 85 degrees and about 90% humidity. after 65 or so days if all goes well you should have the smallest most pain in the butt milks to feed, it's well worth it though to me as they are my favorites. good luck and keep us posted. you can email me privately if you have other questions about them. milkman13114@aol.com
