Has anyone here made a fake rock wall out of silicone. Here's my idea....
Cut plywood or other material a tad smaller (1/8'') then back of enclosure. Then use silicone to cover and press sand and other stuff, like small rocks and such into silicone while still wet. This is for a desert setup so thats why I am using sand and not peat like I have seen others do with great stuff. Would silicone be safer, as its not flammable and we already use it to seal the corners?
I have stuff called waterfall foam (like great stuff, but is made for ponds and is fish safe when dry,) do think this would be toxic to herps since it is safe for fish. Would this work better then silicone?
Hope all this makes sense. TIA,
Joe
