pakalolo was one of my favorite snakes... he was a little red chondro... didnt even get to turn green. noticed one day he had a respitory infection... he was having a hard time shedding so i shed him. he look really good. the next day i went to get him out to open his mouth and see what was up... and he was dead. [bleep]... im devastated.

Sorry to hear of your loss, that's a bummer!!

A lot of gtps will get "wheezy" while they are in shed which clears up right after shedding. How did you "shed him"?

The babies don't tolerate a lot of stress, and if there really was an active URI that's not a good sign on such a little one.

Very sorry to hear that! Chondros are very susceptable to RI as they have such thin lung tissue. Where did you get your baby from?
