I love the ovulation fairy!

reptilicus81 Mar 05, 2007 11:23 AM

Two of my three ovulated two weeks apart and the due dates are rapidly approaching. This girl is due in one week. I actually found it odd this year as she never lost her appetite. These last two weeks I haven't let her feed though to avoid complications!

Have you STILL not seen the Fairy?? I sent her your way as soon as she finished up here. Guess she's going the long way. Hey, maybe she'll make it up to you in shear numbers of eggs and absolute gorgeous babies.

Lead us not into temptation. We can find it on our own.

If she is due in 1 week she should be exploding at the tail. No offense but she doesn't look gravid to me.........

Hey...I am not perfect, so I don't make any guarantees POS was 2/15, and she actually looks very similar to her appearance about a week before she dropped her clutch last year.

This year:

I had the day off of work today!
Here she was in shed 2/15....I love this girl.

We got her for $75 a couple years ago (2000 grams). She was a steal Her babies oddly enough are very fast growing! Here is a comparison of two '06 females. The one on the left is from a normal to normal cross (female was 2100 grams and 5 years old). The one on the right is from the above female crossed with a pastel. She was born almost a month later, and was only ten grams heavier the the other female. Look at them now:

she's not gravid.....feed her and breed her more........

some balls won't actually ovulate for a month or two or three yet........

keep feeding and breeding till she lays.......

.....when you see the eggs...you know it took......

You are definetly right...nothing is certain until she drops

There is not much I can do but wait now! She has been paired up on and off since late September/Early October. Male has no interest in her anymore (hasn't since January). I witnessed ~10 copulations prior to that, so he did have interest at one point.

Either way, I hope to get more than one pastel off of her this year
