Retics and Burms have to be at least two years old and of heavy body weight to breed.

Only once have I ever had a "picky" eater among my Retics and it was a female P.P. (Prehistoric Pets) tiger. She was bit of a pain in that she was strictly a rat feeder and it took some serious trickery on my part to get her to take rabbits or g-pigs. But everyone in the gang was veracious in their feedings regardless.

You may want to head straight into bunnies instead of g-pigs if you're concerned about a Retic being picky. This way when you get them to be BIG snakes (like 15-18 foot), and there is no way 1 or 2 large g-pigs will be enough, you've already got them set for very large prey like a 7-12lb bunny. So if the snake is really picky it's a bit of a bi*$h to get them to change again from g-pigs to bunnies. And for some oddball reason (in my experience) when snakes change from rats to bunnies they put on size quick!!! Not just length but girth also. So bunnies may be a best bet.

Again this is all in my opinion /experiences.
Good luck and nice looking kids (aka snakes )

She has the age and the body weight. She very well might be looking for some love. Some go a little earlier than others. Some take 3 years to be ready, some take 2, some take 4 or 5. They are all different.

Female retics dont breed at 2 years old. Just be patient, she will eat again, sometimes they just go off food.
