I just wondered, at the top of your pics it says C.Collaris/Aquaflame or C.Collaris/Yellowhead

Does that mean they are hybrids, or because aquaflame/yellowheads fall into the Collaris family?

Nice pics by the way, can we see some more? PLLLeeeease?

Just showed my OH your photos, he nearly fell off his chair, said he didn't realise the auriceps i ordered were so much yellower (hence he was confused by all the excitement) than the Easterns we already have, he sends his compliments, lol

Tell him I said he will fall in love when he sees those yellers They are so very pretty, the girls are really sweet looking also, girly faces

As far as the way I put that after pics, it is just letting people (who are not into collareds) know that they are C.collaris (yes) but yet yellowheads, that were ONCE classified as auriceps.
And the aquaflame name, as you probably have heard is just a phrase/name given to them by a collared keeper, Dr. Thomas Jones that used to have a site. It just refers to thier awesome bright colors and locale being Oklahoma.

But all are in the colorful group of C. collaris

Shasta Sizzles, female C.collaris/yellowhead

I think he secretly already has He spends more time looking at our existing collection than anything else listed in my sig (we have a lot of pets, lol)

He also seems to be asking a lot of questions about when my friend is back from Hamm, and when we can go collect them. I caught him looking at the pics of the auriceps on your site today, he pointed and asked "These are what we are having, aren't we? When can we pick them up?? Like I hadnt already told him, lol......bless him

I can't even put my critters in my signature, LOL it would look ridiculous, hehheee.

Anyway, yeah the yellows are spectacular, and each is different in their shades of blues, yellows, some females are as blue as males. I have a male named Apache (working with him) that has such a yellow head he's just dazzling.

I wish you the best in getting some, let us know when you ge them.
