Expense Report Template

midnightherps Mar 06, 2007 04:08 PM

Does any one have a template they use to keep track of expenses relating to their repitle business?
I'd really appreciate any suggestions or ideas. Ive already looked through the templates that microsoft's website has to offer for excel. Im curious how the rest of you keep track of your expenses for tax purposes.

Thanks
Brendan

I'd also be interested in learning, hopefully someday breeding will turn into a business for me if things go better than they have lately....

You might want to look up degei.com. It's a data base that covers pretty much all of husbandry attributed to the keeping of snakes. It also takes into account feeder cost. I have been very satisfied with this program. They also have an online forum for any troubleshooting or how to's. I don't know of any others out there. Chris

Microsoft Money or Quicken are both excellent programs, especially when it comes time to file taxes as both programs will export the information needed. You can separate your reptile business expenses from your personal expenses in both programs very easily.

No problem. FYI, If you use TurboTax for your taxes, it will give you the option to import your tax information from Quicken since they are both from the company Intuit. Best of luck!
