I bought an Exo-Terra HeatWave Heat Mat for my leopard gecko tank, and I'm not at all satisfied with the performance. In order to keep temperatures (both substrate and air) above 80 degrees I've had to use a red glass "nighlight" bulb along with the UTH. I'd like to get an under tank heater that provides enough warmth without the need of an incandesent heat bulb. My tank is a US 15 gallon. Can anyone recommend a UTH that would suit my needs?

Just buy a bigger size UTH. I always use he uth with the red bulb.
