PIC of Kami's Back. Trying to set my Macro mode on the camera

MattMan Aug 12, 2003 12:24 AM

Well, this is just the back of one of my Hypo Pastels Kami. Was trying to fool around with the macro mode and thought I took a pretty nice one. My camera just doesn't pick up this lavender/light puplr color he has down the middle of his back. He has a stripeof yellow down his back and on either side it is this coll light purple color witch I can't seem to reproduce on the camera. Can't wait till he is adult, maybe I will be able to get that color then.

Try putting a piece of tissue paper over the flash. You don't want to stop it, you only want to filter it.

Give it a shot.

I just tried it on a leo who kept appearing as a white shiny mass due to bulb relection off his white skin. Your method worked wonders. Now he appeard like he should.
Of course, trying to hold the tissue there with one finger and snap the pic with another finger is a pain (I was holding the leo in the other hand) - perhaps I can tape the tissue on??
also, please get back to me on the "dilema" email I sent you or respond to it in the forum. I went ahead and posted my dilema in the forum because I need opinions on how to go about things delicately and still get the dragon I paid for.
Thanks!!

For Tyler, Kami was bred by Rob & Vicki Dachiu. www.dachiu.com Kami is one of their orange hypo pastels. They had some awesome ones when I went to their house last time. Kami was not even close to the best I saw there. He was what I could afford at the time without digging in to money I wasn't prepared to spend. Glad you like.
