corn snakes

i have just recently recieved a corn snake (first time owner)and would like to know when it sheds its skin. i have been told that its eyes turn blue. is this true? are there any other signs? how long does it take?

There is no set schedule for shedding... It all depends on how big/old the animal is, how much you feed, how fast the snake is growing, and lastly the snake.. as each is different.

When your animal does go into a shed the eyes will turn blue / gray and the color of the of the body will become opague for a day or two.. Then it will clear up and a few days later she will shed.
