Display Case Heating Question.

Im going to be picking up a display case thats 6ftx2ftx3ft high including the oak stand. Anyone got any ideas on how to heat it? Here's the case im getting it for a whopping $50.

the o9nly thing that comes to my mind is place a piece of wood on the inside and then the heat mat, covered in cloth, glass cutter a hole at one of the seams. Or top lights, cutting holes as needed. Build a shelf under it just under the glass. Hummmm

I look at picking up a cane heat mat. Won't stand out too much and should help.

So a kane put in their on a dimmer, and just put the substrate right on top? They are made out of a rubber substance so they shouldnt have problems being under the substrate or possibly getting urated on? Never used a heat mat INSIDE a cage...
