Yeah,..those are some exceptionally "clean" bodies!!...those will produce some cool stuff no doubt!....are those "cropped" from other poor photos?, or are you truly in dire need of a good camera!!!LOL (tee-hee)..................................Doug

Wow, now that hurts! I do need a better camera (and a few lessons) I'm sure it's more me than the camera.

The Calydras came out pretty good--if you play with the light angles a bit and distance to subject, you'll get better shots. And yes, I know all too well the trauma of getting just one useable pic out of 100. Lotsa practice Steve...
Keep the frog and syspila separate, it's hard making those hypos!
Here's a couple of old archived shots...Jeff

Hey Jeff.
I know from you working with all the tough little snakes you have, that you are one of the most patient people alive!! I need more of that. I take a picture or two and say "boy I suck" and use them. I also know that I have a few little N.A> milks that will test the little patience that I do have.
So I'm going to try more things to get better pictures!!

When I really screw up - my wife takes the picture and unfortunatly, it's clear!! Here's one of my screw ups from a few years ago - one fang in the thumb from a neonate southern copperhead!! Now - no more hot snakes in the house!! She put her foot down and it almost landed on my neck!

See!,....now THAT'S a quality shot!LOL,........seriously though, boy,..the swelling went pretty far up your arm!,...did it make your glands under your arm sore?......did it have any lasting effects?....I'm assuming your hopefully 100% if it was a long time ago.....sorry that happened!,...I bet when you look back on the circumstance as to how it happened, you thought to yourself,.......If I only would/wouldn't have done this, it would never have happened!,...and wanted to kick yourself right square in the ass!!,..am I right?LOL,..glad you're better, ...............................................Doug
