A few Pit pics.....

Nokturnel Tom Mar 07, 2007 09:19 PM

Here's my meaner than mean multi het Bull, let's hope she is not also het for MEAN. This was a peek inside the cage shot...came out OK considering...

Next is a nice Dyer San Diego gopher I have here on loan from Envy. I love the green!

Finally, big mama has awakened! She was conked out buried in her brumation container and is now up and ready to go into her cage. It's kind of hard to fit this girls entire body in the shot...so I snapped this off while I had the chance. She has produced quite a few variants and is one of my faves.

Next and lastly, here's an off topic shot of my gravid Spotted Python. If I get eggs it will be my first Python clutch ever. Wish me luck

Thanks! Tom Stevens

Nice Tom, I like this time of the year, I got all my snakes out of brumatiom last week and started to feed them this week.

I wish you a good season,

Gai.

Thanks Gai, I agree that seeing all the snakes after them being out of site for a few months is a lot of fun. It is better in a way than even seeing new babies because here I had a ton of adults cooling and brought most into the snake room over the course of 3 days. Seeing babies is a thrill for sure, but I actually like the week I bring the adults in even better,
Good luck with everything Tom Stevens

Awesome! That Big Momma sure looks big! How long you suppose she is? Thanks for the pics!

She is roughly 6 foot. I think she is 7 years old now...maybe 8? She's very calm and is a great pet and makes a lot of nice babies. Her mate is a scrawny 4-5 footer. Once he discovered mating...he decided food was no big deal LOL Tom Stevens
