OT: The good times just keep rolling...

Barry Miller Mar 07, 2007 09:32 PM

To those who have had to wait on replies to emails and phone calls I apologize. Yesterday I had my second hand surgery in four months. It feels like a hot poker is being held against my thumb 24/7:

This was after the first sugery to reattach the tendons:

This was after a physical therapist brutally removed the dissolving (NOT!) sutures and scar tissue from the first surgery (something to look forward to again):

You really don't appreciate having two good hands until you try handling a nine foot Suriname boa with just one hand (or just buttoning a shirt for that matter). Oh well, It could be much worse, and I have many blessings to be grateful for. But it would be nice if the snakes would quit pooping for a little while.

Damn, does not look like fun. Best of luck with the recovery process. If I may ask, what was the original injury? I can relate as I have had 13 surgeries on my right leg...

Hitchhiking just isn't a good idea. I'll bet you'll think twice before you pull that again... LOL
