It's been said that at 8-12 months of age and about 250-300g for a female. I personally wait till 350g. It takes a big toll on them and that is why it's best to be bigger and better for the aganizing pain. Haha I know i would be a big pain if i had 15-30 babies at a time. haha

Yes sorry i meant that for the males i should have specified. Noone mentioned the males weights that i could remember so i wanted to put that in there. Yes females should not be breed till at least 15 months of age. AT least 350 but i wait for females till about 400-450g. Males like i said before have been breed at 8-12 months, some babies have been recoreded to have diabilities and some other problems.

I don't recommend breeding a female dragon under 15 months of age. 18 months or older, is better. Males should be a year old at the least and very close to the size of the female. (within an inch or two of length and 50g). If one is bigger than this, there is a chance they will just fight and one or both be injured.

Female bearded dragons are capable of breeding younger than 15 months, they can produce eggs as early as 8 months of age. However, such earlier clutches tend to be small, have a higher chance of causing egg binding in the female, calcium crashes and other problems. It does put alot of stress on a body still trying to grow up. It would be the same as having a 10 year old girl getting pregnant and having a baby. It is possible, but risks are much higher. Her body can carry a baby to term, but most parents would prefer their children to be at least 18 before having children of their own.

OMG! Don't even think about it at or prior to 15 months and certainly not less than at least 350 grams (like B22 said more is way better) unless you really don't care about your dragon.
