i bought a verilux plant-gro bulb tonight and it stated it was good for plants, fish, and reptiles..because it replicates natural sunlight and then went on to say it contained phosphor3.. i bought this for extra lighting in my water dragon cage and was wondering has anyone ever had any sucess keeping dragons (beardies or otherwise) with these bulbs ..do they emit any uvb??? just curious
secondly just so i get this straight.. i know what d3 is for.. and the d stand for vitamin D does it not.. because vitamin D in humans helps us build calium when exposed to natural sunlight..but what exactly does the 3 stand for???
thirdly my two year old male has stopped eating his greens.. i thought it was because i have been sprinkling it with calcium every two-three days and he doesn't like the way it tastes but he doesn't eat it when i don't use calcium.... and i took his pellets away because of a fruit fly epedemic and he looked and felt a little thinner.... so i put the pellets back in and he's been eating them and supers and crix but not the greens.. he gets a variety plus his regular stuff....he is going to the vet for a fecal next tuesday along with everyone else (have to wait till tuesday because i have a few more geckos arriving sunday)...i have been using worm gaurd as a preventive for awhile now and haven't had a case of worms in a long time.. what are your thoughts..
sorry for th long post and questions
