My two-year old boas - each in a separate 4x2 boaphile cage - have outgrown their 8in x 10in hide boxes (black plastic). Any ideas on where I can find larger hide boxes? or make my own? I prefer something light weight and easy to clean - but still attractive.

Currently I have a hide box on both ends of their cages. They use their hides alot. But lately the hide box has been resting "on top" of my female because she is too big for it. The male likes to use his almost all the time. He still fits inside but will soon outgrow it.

I go to tractor supply and get one of those huge water bowls for pigs n such. I cut a little entrance a poof perfect hide for adult boas. Easy to clean as well.

I use a dremel tool to cut the entrance, but you could heat up a screwdriver with a flame and melt/carve the entrance. Around 5 bucks. Careful with that flame method.

I use mortar tubs from Home Depot. I cut out two circular holes, one for an entrance and one to hold a water bowl. It takes up half of a 4 x 2 almost, but it has a lot of space inside...in fact two 15 pound snakes could easily fit in it
