Koopa May 21, 2003 10:54 AM

Hi,
Can u house two different breeds of uros together? Cuz we have a male orange niger now, but we love the ornates too so we want to know if u can put them together, as long as we get a female. Thanx.

I don't know but I think the general rule is females can be bad to each other.

There are ALWAYS exceptions - but you won't find anything anywhere that says it is o.k. to house 2 different Uro species together. It is generally considered a 'no-no'. However, I have seen pix sent in by folks who have made it work. I'm not recommending it - but you wouldn't be the first.
