Kickin off Friday right...DU Death ; - )

As those of you with multiple animals knows, when it comes time for the daily check and clean, sometimes it rains and sometimes it pours. Yesterday was a light sprinkle so I had time to play around. Took some new pics of some of my favorite sub-adults. The adults are all busy and not to be bothered.

First up are the males:

This is Hook. I still love his story, was one of my 2005 babies and was in the for sale racks for a fair amount of time. After a few sheds, I kept noticing him. That year I had several standout from birth male babies so wasn't looking for any more. This guy kept catching my eye until I finally gave in and moved him to the hold back section. Never been sorry for that decision, he is such a richly colored BRB. You can see what inspired his name toward the upper right. There is a full bullseye side blotch with a hook towards the right. I always noticed it, it really stands out for some reason.

Next up are two pics of Phoenix, part of the reason I took new pics, to get better pics of him and Diablo. Phoenix is Savannah's brightest male baby from the 2005 litter sired by Porky.

Speaking of Diablo, he's the best male from Petunia's 2005 litter sired by Lefty.

The last male for today is Lon, He's one of two holdbacks from 2006. He has some serious blushing in the side medallions. Kind of loke clouds, if you look you can see things in there. I see faces. Therefore the name "Lon" Chaney, man of a thousand faces.

Of course I had to represent the girls also:

First up is one of my all time favorites babies I've produced - Amber! Another one of Savannah's 2005 litter, This girl has it going on. Note the lack of side crescents and the fade awya towards the middle of the side medallions. This girl has smokin hot colors, I can never capture them. She has that day glow orange, glow in the dark phosphorescence I don't see in any of my other BRB's.

Another of my 2005 babies, litter mate to Diablo, this is Lucy.

Picked these next two girls up from Will Bird, he produced some stunning babies in 2006 and I bought a trio from him. They are directly descended from the Leticia Colombia locality, Lamar line.

Scarlett, a really nice bullseye and wow, she is orange!

And Vivian, another nice bullseye, more towards the red end, a bit opaque so color is a bit dull.

Last and by NO means least is Tawney, My 2006 Anery from Brian Sharp. This girl is holding her color SOOOOOOO well. The crescents are so bright white and the rest is tan and pewter. By far the best looking Anery I've seen. Not that I've seen that many but I have seen a few in person and Tawney rocks!!

Hope y'all enjoyed the pics, I know I had fun taking them and putting this post together.

Thanks for all those new pics Dave first off and daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!!!!!!

Hook- I was wondering why you kept this guy but an updated pic and he is hot with strong oranges showing through especially in the crescent colors. I will strip search Frank for this guy too.

Phoenix- I already said to much about him but he looks like he is on fire and the pic of rainbow soup gets my vote for the best pic ever and should be nominated for something but Phoenix in that picture is absolutely breathtaking. His crescent color is absolutely ridiculous and his red is unbelievable that snake is the prettiest normal brb I've ever seen.

Diablo- Another stunning male that was probably my 3rd favorite normal male you got behind Phoenix, Lefty then Diablo but Captain Hook is my 2nd then Lefty now

Lon- Such a unique snake for such a distinct collection

Daisey- that is the most orange I've seen her in any of her other pics you took of her but I realize you're an amateurhaha lol. Seeing that snake in your collection makes me jealous but I wish you the best with that project and the Genesis one too and Tawney.

Scarlett- She is gonna be a looker next year that is for sure, her color is really coming in now.

Tawney- Thanks for throwing her in the mix but the other ladies might get jealous of her though so u better watch out for that. Those white crescents are to die for and I am hoping for at least 2 bullseye males for you on the '09 season and even whiter and brighter crescents.

But since you're gonna do the dirty job of strip searching Frank, I thought I'd let you slide.

Hmmm, who's gonna strip search you?

YOWZA!!! You have some of the nicest BRB's I've seen. Those crescents on Tawney are killer! They really pop out at you! I have to say that the orange ones are my favorite, though.

Thanks, put a lot of effort (and coin) into building my collection into a very diverse assortment of BRB's. Always opting for the best I can get.

This is Daisey, the most extreme orange BRB I have. She's so drop dead gorgeous, when the breeder I got her from offered to sell me his trio (including her parents) I snapped them up quick!

And the trio she came from (the breeder couldn't remeber which female he bred that year):

Good news for you then, not only is she being bred this year to Porky, A orange male, not what I'd call High orange but still nice and orange. I've also got her parents breeding so should have 100% siblings to her, just a few years younger.

but now tend to lean more towards the orange but there is nothing like a high red snake with bright tangerine crescents and the contrast between all the colors is so awesome like Phoenix. And then there is Daisey who is soooo orange that you can't tell the difference between her dorsal color and crescent color and that is stunning.

And Dave I thought we changed the name from "diverse collection" to "distinct collection" cuz that sounds more impressive much like your collection
