As those of you with multiple animals knows, when it comes time for the daily check and clean, sometimes it rains and sometimes it pours. Yesterday was a light sprinkle so I had time to play around. Took some new pics of some of my favorite sub-adults. The adults are all busy and not to be bothered.
First up are the males:
This is Hook. I still love his story, was one of my 2005 babies and was in the for sale racks for a fair amount of time. After a few sheds, I kept noticing him. That year I had several standout from birth male babies so wasn't looking for any more. This guy kept catching my eye until I finally gave in and moved him to the hold back section. Never been sorry for that decision, he is such a richly colored BRB. You can see what inspired his name toward the upper right. There is a full bullseye side blotch with a hook towards the right. I always noticed it, it really stands out for some reason.
Next up are two pics of Phoenix, part of the reason I took new pics, to get better pics of him and Diablo. Phoenix is Savannah's brightest male baby from the 2005 litter sired by Porky.
Speaking of Diablo, he's the best male from Petunia's 2005 litter sired by Lefty.
The last male for today is Lon, He's one of two holdbacks from 2006. He has some serious blushing in the side medallions. Kind of loke clouds, if you look you can see things in there. I see faces. Therefore the name "Lon" Chaney, man of a thousand faces.
Of course I had to represent the girls also:
First up is one of my all time favorites babies I've produced - Amber! Another one of Savannah's 2005 litter, This girl has it going on. Note the lack of side crescents and the fade awya towards the middle of the side medallions. This girl has smokin hot colors, I can never capture them. She has that day glow orange, glow in the dark phosphorescence I don't see in any of my other BRB's.
Another of my 2005 babies, litter mate to Diablo, this is Lucy.
Picked these next two girls up from Will Bird, he produced some stunning babies in 2006 and I bought a trio from him. They are directly descended from the Leticia Colombia locality, Lamar line.
Scarlett, a really nice bullseye and wow, she is orange!
And Vivian, another nice bullseye, more towards the red end, a bit opaque so color is a bit dull.
Last and by NO means least is Tawney, My 2006 Anery from Brian Sharp. This girl is holding her color SOOOOOOO well. The crescents are so bright white and the rest is tan and pewter. By far the best looking Anery I've seen. Not that I've seen that many but I have seen a few in person and Tawney rocks!!
Hope y'all enjoyed the pics, I know I had fun taking them and putting this post together.
