Has anyone had experience with a savanah that's a picky eater? the others we have are garbage disposals- except for one- not a fan of meal worms, wax worms, earth worms, hissing cockroaches, boiled egg doesn't seem to hit the spot- he spit it out on the first bite. He's all for chasing crickets and is a riot to watch and he likes fuzzy mice and we even tried an adult mouse once- he'll eat f/t but only if they're "moving" by means of looong tweezers.... crickets and mice are a fine diet for him but i like to give 'em variety on occasion- any suggestions?

I experienced something similar to this w/my savs. Tiny (RIP) refused f/t mice & Biggie refuses live prey items. I thought that it was something that I was doing or had done but my vet told that its their preferences & that there's nothing wrong w/them. She as long they're healthy & eating not to worry......

I helped out, and set up the monitors (sometimes, then again sometimes they did, and I couldnt help those ones). Many of those rescue monitors wouldnt eat, or would only eat certain things, but after being set up properly, they ate anything, and everything.
Take a good long look at your cage, your temps, substrates, depth, etc. Describe these with great detail, and post pics of these things. The answer is right there in front of you.
