TIGER TITANIUM!!

PrehistoricPets Mar 09, 2007 08:21 PM

Ok, so I figured that I had to get a pic of the Tiger Titanium, too, if that's what it really is. That is all that we could figure, but it looks like a whole other snake on it's own. This animal is extremely nice looking, as you can see in the pic. We are trying to think up another name for it, since it doesn't really resemble a Tiger very much, except for the stripe down the side. Anyway, let us know what you think, and thanks for looking!!

That is damn nice looking tiger you have Patrick, You guys never cease to amaze me. You are have a great retic year. Keep'em coming. Congrats again.

PrehistoricPets Mar 09, 2007 08:57 PM

Thanks, man. We were so stoked to see them. The project started in 2003, and after 4 years of patience, we finally got to see the end result! It looks as though you are having a pretty decent year, yourself. The G-Stripe and that Super Dwarf Tiger were prime examples of both. Three chears for retics!!

It actually took a lot more than just Patrick and I to get the job done. It has been 3 years and 10 months and a lot of work. Last year Tim and Todd tried to get the females to go with no luck. This year was a completely different year. We actually have a clutch due to hatch today!(Someone pinch me, I think it is just a dream) I intend to take a picture of one of the Titanium Tigers that should be out of the egg tonight and if anything is cooler and more crazy in this clutch we will take pictures of them too. We hope everyone is enjoying the pictures. We will try to get some better ones up soon.

HOOO Frickin' YAHHHH BABY! So many hours, feedings and cage-cleanings passed by through the years on faith...way to hang in there and reap the reward! You guys rule the retic world period! And you haven't even gotten started yet ie: sunfire tiger het to albino tiger females...double het titanium albinos breeding...lot of us kicking ourselves now for not shelling out to get in on the fun with this project early...hats off to the kings!

QUESTION: have you bred a het titanium to a normal yet to see if the hets are visible for sure?

u guys rock!

Well we should be able to tell from the clutch that just hatched if there will be hets and normals so if you cannot tell the difference then they are all poss hets. so we will have a better idea in a few days, but when thay are about 6 months old then I think there would be no dought at all. It looks like there are some normal looking retics and some look like citrons so we should be able to tell in a few days. GRANT YOU SHOULD COME DOWN AND SEE THEM, YOU WILL FREEK !
