keeping reptiles is something to take seriously
it is also a hobby that should be fun
it is not how many you keep but how you keep them
sometimes it is not easy but you should enjoy it
Jane Goodall has no chimps as pets- does she know about chimps?
Jeff Corwin is serious about conservation-does he enjoy it?
The Kratt brothers make money and are good at what they do- Do they have fun?
I never once heard Steve Irwin gripe.
This goes for everything- Michael Jordan I think enjoyed basketball...
I would say all these people are/were successful, serious about what they do and if you asked them, they would tell you they enjoy what they do and wouldn't want to do anything else.
If you don't enjoy it why bother.

CRIKEY! I've just been stabbed by a poisonous tree and I'm bleeding profusely. And there's a komodo dragon clamped on me buttcheek! But as soon as I'm done giving me uro a ride on me head- it's off to buy dandelion!
