sexing timors

how do i sex my timor???
is it like a snake.....where u have to probe it?
also, can a male and a female live together in the same tank year round??

Wisconsin,
No, it is not like a snake that can be probed. Experience and observation trains most of us to accurately sex monitors(and sometimes this fails us too). You may be lacking this right now, so in this case, suggest that you purchase or check out some books on the topic. Also view the proexotics website for some photos and information on the topic (it is descriptively covered with photos). But sexing will be a non-factor until your animals reach maturity. Concentrate on housing and raising your animals to maturity successfully. Read, read, read... Also, review old posts here frequently.
