Kanburi babies:

Oxyrhopus Mar 10, 2007 10:19 PM

I checked on a momma today and she was sitting on the base of the cage with 4 of her babies she just dropped about an hour earlier. These are tiny babies about 3-4 inches it seems. There are 2 more mommas and I bred them a month apart but the others seem ready to drop also.

I wished I wrote that down but don't exactly remember the exact date but it was about 6 months ago or so. I have 3 females and put the male in with each female for a couple weeks at a time and provided the male a couple weeks rest between breedings with each female. I keep male tree vipers nearby the females caged separately for months if not since birth and when I put them together they lock up right away. I did the same with my trigons and one of them is showing to be gravid and the other was locked with the male all last month so I hope she took also.
