Breeding Question...resistant female

Stefaran Aug 12, 2003 09:28 AM

Hey,
I have a normal female that is 60g and i have tried to breed her with two different males that I have. Anyways, the problem is she is determined not to let this happen. She either runs or slaps the poor male with her chunky tail. This has been going on for a couple of months. Would I have better luck in the spring or does anyone have any ideas? I have a beautiful high yellow male I want to breed her with but she doesn't like that idea!
Thanks for any input!

well, the problem right now is that breeding season is just about ending so the female wont' be interested right now, but what you should do is separate the male and female during the winter, and reintroduce them DURING breeding season...eventually she will give in, they always do
