Run of the house!

HAPPY124 Mar 11, 2007 02:11 PM

I cleaned the females cage this morning and then left to go shopping. Came home and noticed I left the door slightly opened. I looked and she wasnt in her home! The little rascal got out. I have her home on top of a buffet table. So she had to of jumped down. Plus I have to 2 standard poodles so I got worried. But they werent acting funny so I knew they didnt get ahold of her. All of a sudden I heard a noise behind the table. There she was just waiting. So I grabbed her and put her back in her home. Checked her out to make sure she was ok. That will teach me to always check her doors. She is an escapee!!! Sorry but had to share.

notice my scrolling message at the bottom....I used to just leave the doors of my cages open all the time. One of my females would run around a little and then go right back into her cage. I have a male that when he leaves, he'll find a dark corner and sleep there until you find him. then and again, my cages are on the floor.

good thing your poodles didn't find him. I don't let my dragons run free anymore....i just got a puppy miniature poodle that would love to "play" with the dragons.
