Getting started

Well, I got a retic yesterday yay!!!!! It's beautiful. I live in Bali where they come from. And my friend found some eggs in the forest and kept the babies 6 months before giving them the nicest one. I'm keeping it in a good inclosure. It's soooooo tame for a wc. No problem at all. I do want to know though if I can feed it chicks. It's 1 meter long and a good size not fat not thin and strong with a beautiful skin no wounds or anything wrong. I've had experience with many lizards e.g. iguanas, water monitors, geckos, skinks, and a few snakes but never constrictors so any info would be appreciated thanx!!!

you can feed it chicks- the only problem I have with chicks/chickens is that there isn't much on them- mostly feathers that don't do the snake much good- just more to digest. There isn't much fat or protien on them. Mice/rats are much better. congrats

Thanx for that. I fed it a mouse the other day. I'm interested how easy it is to make a mice or hamster colony.
Thanx for your help!
