I have had my first clutch laid for this season and last year had no problems with the eggs. I am using a new male this year, he is a breeding size, but this is his first year breeding. The eggs last year were great, but this year they seem to be no good. They glow yellow when candled and they are soft, not forming solid shells. They are whole, not holes and they are not molding. I am keeping them in the incubator, just in case. I think they are no good though. Any opinions? Anyone WITH PAST EXPERIENCE, please resond accordingly. Thanks,
Laura
PS SHe had access to lots of calcium supply and meals were dusted every other feeding. I have done everything exactly the same as last year. Could she have saved sperm from the prior season and that may be why the eggs are no good??? Again any help is appreciated.
