he wants to but she doesn't..........

Does this sound like a common theme..LOL My poor lavender male has been chasing my hypo miami around for a day now but she is just not interested. She shed two days ago after 2 months brumating. He crawls on top of her and you can see the jerky movements form the male but she just wants to crawl away and hide under the newspaper. She has bred before so hopefully she will get in the mood soon. I'm guessing that I should just leave them together until I see a lock up or evidence on the paper. Does anyone think I should remove the hide box so that she can't just stay hidden from him? He doesn't seem interested in going into the hide after she does?

Yes!,....That sounds very familiar!LOL,....I would leave it in for a while, then take it out again to see what happens...If nothing does again, I'd separate them for several days....Don't want to stress her too much if she's not in the mood. Eventually she should come around, there's plenty of time for it to happen. It might even take another shed, who knows!,..............Doug
