I am trying to design a new indoor pond in my basement for my 3 RES. I would like to make it at least 8ft x 4ft and maybe 18" deep. The problem is, I would really like to incorporate a glass pane along one of the sides so I can see into the water as well. So I'm wondering if I make the pond out of fiberglass, how do I secure the glass and maintain strength and watertightness? Does fiberglass adhere to glass well? Does silicone adhere to fiberglass?
