Depending on wheather your asking about mlaes or females. I would say (and I'm still a newbie so take it for what its worth) Males generally 4-6 feet, and females 5-7ish. Those are completely roundabout numbers. Very heavy-bodied snake though. Some weigh in at 30-50 lbs. They get that big over a few years, depending on how their fed.

Males generally 4-5ft females generally 5-6ft. I personally have 7 and 8ft female malaysians and my males are over 6ft. Back in the day malaysians used to come in at 9ft! They can get huge but this isn't common. Usually takes around 4 yrs to become adult size but any animal you see that is very large is usually an older animal.

All of my brongersmai are older snakes averaging around 10 years of age, plus or minus a couple, and so I can give you some pretty good figures on average adult sizes. The males are all 5.5 to 6.0 feet and the females are all 6.5 to 7.0 feet. From field data, it appears that adult Malaysian bloods tend to run just slightly larger than Sumatran specimens. The all time record was a Malaysian animal that taped out at a few inches over 9 feet. However, bloods that tape over 7 feet are rare. Nothing even near that 9 foot specimen has ever been imported into the U.S.
