Brooks x E. Integrad. Parents/Offspring

mattcbiker Mar 13, 2007 01:26 PM

Thought I'd post some new pics of this mix since there's been a few others showing theirs off. I like all the integrades the real blotchy ones in the previous posts. This mix is a little different.

These are the parents. '01 male brooksi and '97 Eastern female.

I kept three of the babies. They were reluctant eaters. I now I have two, as this one ate one of the others I kept (don't keep baby kings together either). Just this month did these two start eating on their own!

Here is the other one. This guy has very clean bands, no orange/red like the other one has. This one also has more consistent banding than its sibling, very similar to it's mother! Hope you enjoyed

Matt

I REALLY like that eastern female. Nice black and white. Must be from a more northern locale because you can see the more true eastern influence in the babies.

I always like the black and white easterns the best.

So whatch ya gonna do with the babies?

I'm going to keep this pair. However, I'm going to breed them again shortly. She put out 19 eggs last year!

I love to hear about big clutches like that. To get any eggs is a victory, but the more the merrier. You must be doing something right my friend. Good luck this season.
