First off, leave the poor animal alone for about a week. Let it get settled in its new home and get acclimated to its surroundings.
Second, bloods and other short-tailed pythons as juveniles have somewhat loose skin when relaxed and this gets stretched when they flex due to stress or excitement making them look bigger. It is possible the snake is a little dehydrated depending on the conditions it was kept in and whether it is an import or captive bred. Most imported animals suffer from varying degrees of dehydration and this is usually why many do not eat. Provide a bowl of fresh water large enough to soak in and keep this clean.
Oh, and leave it alone for a week or so. Then you can try a feed it. Search for feeding techniques in this forum for guidance.
Good luck!
