Hey all, I have a really dumb question...I'm having a hard time recalling genetics here, but if you breed a female western hog, het for albino, to a normal male, what sort of offspring are you likely to get? Thanks,

A 100% Het and a Normal should produce roughly 1/2 perfectly normal offspring and 1/2 hets for albino. So all of them will appear normal, and until they are bred there will be no way to know, so you would label them 50% chance for Het Albino.

Except that all the hets I have ever produced are the most yellow hogs Ive ever seen and the het for pink pastels are yellow with pink too, so you can have a damn good guess which ones are hets

Thats awesome, I had no idea that they were visual hets, and i have been told otherwise in the past, though I have complete confidence in you.
