I have my finger's crossed that she drops her clutch tonight. She is about to explode.
Any bets on clutch size?

naw. she laid an infertile clutch of 8 eggs (which weighed ~1 lb) the other year...wasn't bred. Based on her size (little over 4 feet and 5 lbs empty) and being bred this year, I had asked earlier on if it was possible for her to maybe lay a dozen eggs this time around. Just looking at this latest photo of her (taken tonight) I think she might surpass that estimate LOL. She looks like she is all eggs up to her neck. I was told she was pretty restless yesterday and today she's been coiling up hence why I think she might go tonight. If she does lay tonight it will be 10 days earlier than expected.

When she gets within days of laying, she will coil with her tail on the inside of the coil.

The male is a banded Jolliff axanthic, possible het snow.
The other female that was intended to be bred to him (to hopefully try an prove out the het snow) doesn't appear to be going this year. They bred but nothing seems to be happening with her.
My normal female was more for back up on getting something this year from that male lol. We have no clue on her genetics other than the original owners had her for 10 years before I got her in June 04, but they didn't say if they raised her from a baby or not. It's possible she was originally wild caught as she does have some minor scarring on her.

She's been alternating with tail inside and out. She didn't lay last night, but it does look like what she did do was start pushing the eggs down the line so laying may start as early as this afternoon.

Believe it or not.. she's gotten a bit fatter since the other night. She passed some urates so we don't know if she almost lost control of the eggs or what's going on... she had her tail up and against the back wall of the cage like she was trying to hold them in. There is a weather front moving in so maybe that will trigger laying. ??
