pakistan black cobras

I have a quick question about breeding p.b. cobras. I have not had breeding sucess with my adult pair that I have owned now for 1 1/2 years. Do they absolutely require a brumation period and if so what are the recomended temperatures. Also egg incubation temps and any other advice from someone who has bred them would be greatly appreciated.

Mine bred without me purposefully doing anything to stimulate them. They began breeding when I, upon a whim, introduced the male into the female's cage, and then continued to breed for a month or so as I'd take him out and put him back in. She laid eggs sometime around a month or so after the last noticed copulation. She wasn't very big (~3.5') and her clutch was small at only 5 good eggs. So, in answer to your question: no, they don't absolutely need a particular form of cycling to induce them into breeding. However, with ophiophagic snakes, it's always a good idea to try your best to make sure they're in the mood to mate rather than eat.
