From what I've read all over the place, the ideal temps for collared lizard eggs is between 78-90, right? What is the hottest you would go?

Right now, I'm trying various ways to get the temperature in the low 80's. I've got it to steady at 81.2, at 85.1, and at 89/90 - that's at the TOP of the moist sand I have... The lid of the cooler is skewed a bit for air flow, and I'm about to see what temps come about with a towel on top...

So what ratios (m:f) have you gotten with what temps? Are boys cooler and girls warmer, or vice versa? I might think about trying for more boys because of colors, or more females for breeding in the future (they seem to be popular in the FL area...)... or I'll just try for 83-85 somehow and get in the middle...

Thanks in advace ppl!
