BREEDING GREEN TREE FROGS (HYLA CENERIA)

nancymm Mar 14, 2007 12:53 PM

I have been trying to breed my frogs for quite some time now and it just isn't turning out the way I thought it would. My males are croaking (pretty consistently) yet the females are just not responding. I have done research and asked for opinions from other successful breeders, yet everyone's response is vague. If anyone may be able to provide me with information on how to become a successful breeder of frogs of this sort (Green tree frogs, hyla ceneria) please do not hesitate to contanct me, I would greatly appreciate your inputs.

Also, I have become interested in breeding gilatta worms and would like to be informed on how to do so exactly. If not to much to ask, anyone who might have a specialty in this area, I would be greatful for your inputs or thoughts as well.

how many males do you have to female ratio are they wild caught frogs do you have a rain chamber or do you mist them you might try using habba mister very good product for under 50 frog skins sometimes wild frogs will only breed if there conditioned meaning keep your frogs relatively dry for a month or two then mist them heavily try to do it when you know a storm is coming so you can take advantage of barometric pressure drop dont get discouraged your on the right track if your males are singing somethings just off a little do your females have access to enough water etc do some research on line dont give up when it happens itll be worth it good luck chris

Wow, hate to be the barrer of bad news Chris... but you forgot to put a single capitol and period in that whole sentence. That is very difficult to read and any good info that is in there gets lost in the confusion.
