How common is it that you have an adult female that breeds, but NEVER lays?

it hppens alot more than people admit to
.........I had like 7 of 8 lay......10 out of 11........then maybe 9 of 15......last year I forget actual numbers......but the 5 huge cows gave me half a batch (6 of 11 eggs good)....and 4 did zilch.......and 5 little girls gave me 4 batches of 9 and one didn't go...........something like 9 or 10 batches from ? 18 girls ?............
this year I have 34 girls trying?.........can't tell who is and who isn't making me happy.............just wait and see........
........keep breeding and feeding.........
...I took all males out and stopped breeding 3 times so far this year.....males won't eat......so they went back to work.......just finished putting them to work a few minutes ago.......eat or breed........I get bored watching them do nothing.........
