Emoryi Male from deep South Texas

This guy was caught in I believe 94 by my dad and myself just a few miles north of where my parent live in Mission, Texas. He was a young adult at the time, prolly 3-5 years old then, making him some where near 17 now. He is exceptionally dark in my opinion, and is one of the coolest snakes I have ever had. The pictures are washed out a bit, he is darker than the pics suggest.

What does his vental look like? I know that there is a population of emoryii in southern TX that has a white belly, is your male among those?

Just curious...cool snake!

Acually, there is just a higher percentage of them with a mostly patternless ventral. You can find those type all over south Texas, but the EXTREME are has the highest percentage of them with the clean ventral. ALL of them aren't in any of those localities, though.
