C. Oaxacana or the Oaxacan Black Iguana is from the Oaxacan Provence of Southern Mexico. It would require comprable husbandry to C. Similus or Pectinata. You run some searches on Oaxacan Mexico to find out more about climate and terrain. Good Luck.

for you to purchase Gunther Kohler's book on Ctenosaura which is very good and written in German. There are keys to the different species for identification and very detailed husbandry information.

I already have this book.

After identificating my quinquecarinata which I bought 10march, I found out that they were oaxacana (looking at the tail). I've contacted Gunther Kohler about this, with the question which species it was, and he was doubting between the quinquecarinata and the oaxacana. So I expect that they are oaxacana.

Only there is just about zero information about these species. What can I feed them, what exact temperatures do they need in which months etcetera. And I don't really know how I can find this kind of information.
