New Indoor Pond

manbart55 Mar 15, 2007 09:38 AM

This is a photo of my new 100 gallon indoor pond formed around a 100 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank. It has a Laguna Pressure Flow 1400 filter with an 11 watt internal UV bulb, a 900 GPH submersible pump. The entire pond area is lighted by a 125 Watt compact florescent grow light in an overhead fixture. The basking area is a large bamboo root. Over it is a 100 watt UVB bulb. The pond is sunk into an external structure that I built.

.........WOW........Definately a lot of work, planning and engineering and it looks like it paid off. Looks great to me, the best indoor I've seen for sure. Your turtles are very lucky. Great job! How much did you spend in money and time? THanks for the pic!
